Ms. Brinks' love of travel has resulted in her leading several groups of attorneys and judges on numerous international legal exchange programs to Russia (2002), Turkey (1998), Morocco (1999), China (2001), and Nicaragua (1996, 1998, 2000, 2005, 2008).

Over the past few years, Ms. Brinks has become especially involved with lawyers in Nicaragua through the Partners for Justice program. Partners for Justice is a Christian attorney partnership program affiliated with the non-profit organization Partners Worldwide. By facilitating a partnership between North American and Nicaraguan lawyers, the program seeks to support the Center for Christian Human Rights (CCDH) in its efforts to promote and protect human rights in Nicaragua. Ms. Brinks currently serves as the key North American contact for the program, periodically organizing opportunities for North American professionals to meet and build relationships with their counterparts in Nicaragua.
