Notice re Modern Forms of Communication

At Brinks & Associates, we have access to many new methods of communicating with our clients, such as the internet, fax machines and other similar methods of communication.

We will use these methods of communication, taking the best care that we can to not reveal your confidences, unless you advise us not to do so. Please let us know if you are concerned that you may receive a facsimile in a machine where someone else might see it of if someone else reads or intercepts your e-mail.

If we are addressing a personal legal matter for you, we ask you to carefully consider the use of this technology as well as the use of the phone at your office (vs. your private home) before telling us to communicate with you at your office, because the law does necessarily assume an expectation of privacy at the office. We will do the best we can to keep your matters private.

We may associate with experts and attorneys to assist in your legal matters. We have special procedures in place when we communicate with them about your case to maintain your confidences.
